Not All Viruses Are Bad For You!
Viruses have a bad reputation – when you hear the word most people automatically think of aggressive, infectious, invisible agents that make us sick. While it’s true many viruses are pathogenic (disease-causing) not all of them are. Viruses are similar to bacteria in that some are harmful and disease-causing, and others are helpful, and play a vital role in keeping us healthy. The helpful viruses help build our immune systems and protect us from the harmful ones. Emerging research suggests they may also prevent cancerous tumor growth and the replication of HIV.
We have 380 trillion viruses and 60 trillion bacteria in our body’s and only 6 trillion cells. And every day we breathe in an average of 100,000,000 viruses. Viruses are clearly not foreign to the body, and we are not powerless against them. Our immune system has evolved over millions of years to handle pathogens. Because COVID-19 is a new virus, we do not already have specific antibodies against them but our immune system in its innate intelligence can still protect us from it, so long as it is functioning optimally.
The antibodies are the immune systems frontline defense and each of us have more than 10 billion different kinds of antibodies. Our B cells produce specific antibodies for each foreign molecule and we are armed with a billion different types of B cells to defend us against all the potential pathogens on the planet! When attacked by a pathogenic virus, within minutes, the B cells divide into swarms of clones to produce millions of antibodies to defend against it.
To keep your immune system strong and healthy you need vitamins A, C, and D. Vitamin D should ideally come from the sun, but if you do not live in a sunny climate, a D3 supplement can be taken (avoid D2 because it is synthetic and less bioavailable). You can also support the production of B cells and immune system antibodies by taking the clinically-formulated stem cell boosting nutraceutical – Stem Cell Enhancer.
In addition to the above, you need to support methylation, especially if you are sick or elderly. Methylation is required for the DNA that is necessary for the production of new immune system helper cells such as T cells and B cells. If you’re methylating poorly, it makes you more prone to contracting viruses and increases the amount of time it takes for you to recover. Methylation also plays a vital role in the suppression of viral DNA and poor methylation allows the virus to hijack the cell and to replicate itself. DNA Protector contains several key methyl donor nutrients which dramatically improve methylation.
Last but certainly not least, you need to consume a healthy, wholefoods plant-based diet. The more fruits and vegetables you consume the better. Researchers have found seniors who consumed 5 or more servings of fruits and vegetables a day, developed an 82% greater immune response after just a few months. Personally, I recommend you consume at least 10 servings daily – this will help detoxify your body and arm your immune system with essential nutrients and antioxidants.
